This Special Needs Bandana Bib came into being after I saw all the cute little bandana bibs for babies, and I wanted to create a bib for my nephew, who has cerebral palsy, that didn’t look like a bib.
So I drafted and tested a new pattern enlarged from a baby bib up so it would fit a larger neck and head and figured out how to make the top layer drape more bandana like, but still fit around the edges, and be adjustable.
It is great for children who have just grown out of the baby bibs, but are a little small yet for the bigger adult bandana bibs. So Kindy to Primary School age.
They are designed to be fairly narrow around the back of the neck to avoid any unnecessary warmth in our hot climate, with 3-4 evenly spaced snaps across the back of the neck to allow for adjustment.
Made to protect their clothing and keep them dry so you only need to change the bib instead of going through the hassle of undressing and redressing them several times a day.

I also make a heavyweight more absorbent version of these child size bandana bibs with thick cotton toweling inside for heavier days.
We have carefully prewashed the natural fabrics in a hot load to prevent color running or shrinking in future washes, and our bibs are made to be really durable to withstand being washed everyday to keep them fresh.
We recommend using a cold machine wash, and line drying in the shade to preserve the bright colors, and save on energy, but they can be warm washed and popped in the dryer on warm if necessary.

We are always happy to work with clients to make up a custom orders, and send the invoice through to their NDIS fund manager for payment.
We ship by Australia post, usually within the same or next business day as the payment clears our account on any bibs we have in stock.
Please allow an additional 2 weeks for us to make up any back order or custom order bibs, and I will contact you if we haven’t enough of a fabric print to fulfill your requested order, and we can organise a substitute.
Also be aware you can request us to do a custom order of any of our three layer bib designs made up in any of the prints and fabrics we have in stock.

Returns:
We will happily accept returns on any stock bibs that do not suite or fit you if they are in new clean condition.
We cannot accept change of mind returns on custom orders.
We pride ourselves on quality construction, so if if any problems with construction do arise, within the first few months, just contact us and send them back to us and we will fix them and return them back to you at no charge.
